Pups Need Fresh Breath Too!

*sent for review*

Hey Guys!

Any of you have pups out there? Well, I have a little chihuahua mix and I love her like I birthed her myself!

Vetiq contacted me and asked if I'd be interested in trying out some things for my girl & I thought, why not?

They sent two products: The Vitamin Chews & Minties.

The Vitamin Chews are small semi-soft vitamins that makes your dog think they're getting a treat, but actually they're getting 19 vitamins & minerals vital for their health! If only getting kids to eat their veggies was this easy!

The Minties are the real winner here. Dog breath is real people... It's real and it's foul and it's most of the time unbearable. I guess when you eat your own poop, you aren't expected to have fresh breath, right? I digress. Zoe loved these the most. I guess it was a little sweet treat everyday. I loved them too because it not only made the kisses she loves to give me a bit more bearable, they clean her teeth and remove plaque! Win-Win.

These products are made in the US are a Veterinarian approved. My girl loves them and I'm sure yours will too!!

Recent Limited Edition MAC Lipstick Purchases

Hey Guys!

Long time, no see, huh? Well, I have no excuse except that I haven't been motivated much. Do you ever have those days? I have taken pictures of some old FOTDs that I've been thinking about posting so I can have something up for ya'll to read again....BUT today I want to show you some crappy iPhone pictures of some lipsticks I've bought recently.

Pure Heroine | Lorde Collection

Kelly Yum-Yum | Kelly Osbourne Collection

Dodgy Girl | Kelly Osbourne Collection

The only one I don't like is Dodgy Girl, it's entirely too light and I'm not a "use a lip liner to make it work" kinda girl. I'm going to sell it, there's no need to keep it.

Have you picked up anything from the LE MAC collections that have been coming out lately? There have been SO many!! Thanks for reading!

REVIEW | Bikini Zone

*Disclaimer: Purchased with my own money*

Hey Guys!!

Since warmer weather is right around the corner *crosses all fingers and toes*, I want to talk to you about something not many want to talk about, but probably have issues with. I'm talking about... *ahem* razor bumps. Now, if you don't get them, Great! Pass this post on to a friend that does, but if you do, I have a product that I think will help you tremendously. I know it's helped me a ton. I'm talking about the medicated creme Bikini Zone.

Now, Bikini Zone has lots of different varieties of products and you can research more on their site to see which one suits you the best. I only saw the medicated creme when perusing my local Target, so that's what I snatched up.

Bikini Zone® Medicated Creme

  • Extra Sensitive formula
  • Dermatologist tested
  • Instant relief from irritation, pain and itching
  • Smoothes away bumps
  • Will not stain lingerie, swimsuits or clothing
  • Daily use can help keep you irritation free and smooth all year long

I don't necessarily shave down there all the time, I prefer other hair removal methods, but I do shave my underarms and that is where I get the worst razor bumps. I've tried many different razors, shave gels, techniques, but nothing worked. That was my main reason for picking this up, I thought, "If it works for somewhere as sensitive as the bikini line, it has to work for my underarms, right?!" Right. I hate wearing sleeveless tops sometimes because, even though, my underarms are hairless, there are about 3-4 huge razor bumps and a couple small ones there. That's so embarrassing. No high fives for me! But, after buying this Bikini Zone, I've felt a little more comfortable.

So How Do You Use It?:
I know what you're thinking... don't you need to use deodorant? Yes, and I do, just after I've applied the creme. Directly after I shave my arms in the shower, I apply a small pea sized amount to each of my armpits and let it soak in while I lotion up and get ready. Around the time I'm ready to put on my clothes, it's soaked in and I apply my deodorant....Sometimes I forget!! Thank God for the travel size I keep in my purse... whew. I've also let this stay on my skin overnight and put on deodorant in the morning. Either way, it works and my razor bumps are reduced tremendously. It doesn't leave any kind of residue or ashyness behind and I can wear a sleeveless shirt that same day without any issues.

I think this is a life saver for ladies who like the smoothness a shave gives, but sometimes deals with unsightly, itchy razor bumps that comes afterwards. I highly highly recommend it! Pick it up at your local drugstores, Walmarts & Targets for around $8.99.

New Favorite Hair Products!

*Disclaimer: Purchased with my own money*

Hey Guys!

Okay, I've been slacking on the hair posts and I apologize for that! I want to start doing more, so what better way than to show you some of the newer products that have become staples in my hair routine!!

So, first of all, I've been natural for 2.5 years and I have 4C hair. I'm pretty sure I have high porosity hair as well, because it stays DRY DRY DRY! To find out about the porosity of your hair, I found this great *page*.

Curl Care by Dr. Miracles Frizz Control Serum: I bought this product on a whim one day while perusing Sally's because I knew I'd be getting my hair straightened and wanted something for shine. This actually turned out to be a better investment than I realized it would be. The directions is to use it on wet hair, but I found it kept my hair frizz free on dry hair as well. $5.99

Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier: Oh Em Gee... [yes, I went valley girl!] This product makes my hair feel like butter when I'm combing through it!! It coats my hair and instantly makes it feel softer and more manageable. I feel like this product lets my hair get some moisture and actually soaks it up instead of it just sitting on top of my hair doing nothing. It's a thicker jelly like consistency, so the spray bottle sometimes makes your finger tired because not much product comes through with each spray. $6.99

Hair freshly straightened [Please excuse the quality of these photos, they were taken with my front facing camera]

My horrible attempt at Bantu Knots using just the Anti Frizz Serum. Haha, I'm learning!

Bantu Knot Out results

As you can see [hopefully], my bantu knot out came out perfectly and were shiny and frizz free. The bottle states that it helps hold curls for up to 12 hours but I can't necessarily prove that claim because I've only had my hair down for about 8 hours max. The curls were still poppin after those 8 hours, though, so I'm sure it could carry on into 12!

I'm really thankful to have discovered these two products and I truly feel like I can call them my HGs. I'm already on my second bottle of the Taliah Waajid product, and I know I will repurchase the serum as well!

What are your new or HG hair products that you can't live without??
